Life with our miniature long-haired dachshund, Jake, has been interesting ever sincehis rescue from a very abusive home. We joke that he sleeps ‘24/7’ (but his recent diagnosis of pancreatitis explains why). My younger sister and I played paper dolls for hours . . . then days upon days in our childhood years. Four-1/2-year-older big sister wasn’t into dolls and was too ‘mature’ for such frivolous activities so little sis and I created entire “doll-worlds” together.
